Headshot questions and answers

One clear, front-facing photo in good light, with your face filling a good part of the frame. A recent phone photo works well. The most common reason a photo is rejected is simply that the face is too small in the frame.

Three takes of the look you choose, from one photo. A take that does not look enough like you is held back, so now and then you see two. If none of them is the one, you can redraw twice for free, in the same look or a different one, and each redraw is three new takes. That is on purpose: what you need is one good headshot, in the same look as your colleagues, rather than dozens to sort through.

Usually two or three minutes. The page updates itself while it works, so you do not need to refresh.

Yes. Images you buy can be used on your website, in signatures, decks, press material and profiles.

That is the whole point, and it is why the previews are free. If a result does not look like you, do not buy it — and tell us, because that is useful.

You pay nothing. Try a different source photo — better light and a closer crop change the result more than anything else.

Yes, when everyone uses the same style. A style is a fixed recipe for background, lighting and framing, so the results line up even though the source photos do not.

In the EU, in Google Cloud's Stockholm region. To generate your headshots the photo is sent to Google's AI service, which may process it outside the EU under EU standard contract terms.

The photo you upload and any previews you did not buy are deleted automatically after 30 days. Headshots you buy stay in your account until you delete them, or until two years pass without you signing in, and we email you before that happens. You can erase anything sooner from your account page.

No. Your photos are not training data and are not shared for that purpose.

You. If you join a company's team, its owner can also see the headshots bought with the team's credits, and any headshot you choose to share with the team. Nobody else.

No. Payment is one-time, per image or per bundle.

No. Payment is handled by Stripe and card details never reach us.

Yes. Every payment comes with an invoice showing the VAT, and you can add your company name and VAT number at checkout.

You invite them by email. Each person opens a link, uploads their own photo and consents for themselves — an admin never handles somebody else's face.

Yes. The style recipe is locked for the company, so a person hired next year gets images that match the ones taken today.

Through shared credits, so employees are never asked for a card. You buy credits up front and everyone draws from it.
